PonyDry came to us with a prototype of their one-of-a-kind product and asked us to lead their launch strategy and create online and media buzz.

THE PRODUCT

PonyDry is a watertight hair sleeve that promises women with long locks the experience of showering with short hair. By covering the lengths of the hair when washing, users can wash only their roots, reducing damage and overall styling time.

The product also gained the attention of over 30 international publications across Europe, Asia, and South America.

To make a splash in the crowded beauty space, we needed to communicate the innovation and ease-of-use behind every PonyDry. First, we styled their social pages to be current, relatable, and informative. We then created evergreen assets, including how-to videos and elevated product shots.

To showcase PonyDry’s key time-saving benefit, editors were treated to a live product demo, and we worked with celebrity hair stylist Matthew Collins to create step-by-step glam holiday hair looks that could be done in a hurry.

PonyDry was named one of Chatelaine‘s top beauty products for 2017, appearing in the magazine’s print and online feature, and on Cityline.
