Prominent Toronto photographer Regina Garcia wanted a refreshed visual identity after using the same logo for many years. Her work spans personal creative projects, editorial, and commercial shoots for both local and international brands.
We chose Financier Bold, a serif typeface that looks modern, doesn’t have too many flourishes, and looks somewhat unique. For the colour palette, we started working with black and white, but wanted something with more personality. We experimented with many different shades ranging from dove grey to different nude tones, and eventually paired the final choice with what we call battleship grey – almost black with a hint of blue.
